All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Older, kinder, softer, gentler... her name would be Corree. This sweet dog is easy to love, as there is not a thing or person in the entire world that she does not love back. Children, men, women, other dogs, cats, probably trees and grass, too, as she is filled with life and joy. Every day she wakes up it is to happiness. To take her into your life is to feel that wonderment that each day is new, special, and good. The last thing on Corree's mind would be to ever be a bother. She has always been a very good girl and she still is. She is well housebroken, very quiet and easy going, loves being around people, and considers true heaven your hand on her head. Any type of affection brings her happiness. It is reall rather humbling that just a touch from you can give so much to another living being. But there it is. Corree lives for love. And then there is her entertainment value! Corree can do tricks as well as basic obedience. She is delighted to shake hands (paws?) , sits right on command, lays down when told to, and adores going for walks nicely on her leash just like the lady she is. She is ready to follow you to the end of the earth if that's where you want to go. We know Corree is an older dog, but she has not wasted those years of living. She has spent them making herself into the perfect dog. Nobody knows how long they have to live and breath on earth, and neither does Corree, but she is a healthy girl, and the way we see it, every day with Corree is a true gift. If you have ever shared the love of an older dog, you will know exactly what we mean.

NOTE from foster:  stairs just will not work.  Corree is already very stiff with her hind legs.
