Login to Remember your Favorite Animals and Breeds!

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Topsy is a 5 year old black toy poodle. She only weighs 6 and a half lbs. so no young children. She came from a puppymill where she was constantly bred and kept in a wire cage in a barn. She was overwhelmed in the beginning about being in a home.Topsy has made great strides but will need a patient person that will allow her time to adjust to a new home. She had to be stripped down as her coat was in horrible shape and was kept that way until now as she didn't want to be brushed. She now is okay with it. She is fully vetted and is kept on Interceptor monthly for heartworm prevention as well as frontline on the first of every month. She loves to cuddle on the couch or bed and doesn't mind at all being carried. She will go up and down stairs and is now okay with all types of flooring in a home. She truly deserves a real chance in a home where she is the center of attention, which she loves. Topsy was born to be cherished and loved. You might be the one she has been waiting for all her life.

PLEASE NOTE: Puppy mill rescues are not able to be placed in a home without dog experience (no first time dog owners); must not go to a home with young children (too much activity for the dog trying to "make it" in the outside world); and must go to a home where they will not be left for more than a four-hour stretch.
