All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

If you have ever had the love and heart of an older dog, you know what's in store for you with Shadow. Even more, since she is a German shepherd, and truly has that legendary adoration of her person or family. She still enjoys playing with her ball and is an easy lady to love. If you are hoping for quieter walks, some gentle backyard play, and a friend who will sit next to you and enjoy the sunsets, think Shadow.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER; She has been with one owner since a pup. She lived most of her life with another shepherd that the owners got when Shadow was a year or two old. The other shepherd left with the ex-wife .She does great with kids, and I believe has lived with a cat when she was younger. She loves to play catch with her ball. She does walk on a leash but is usually out in their yard that is over an acre.
She does well in the car. She does not like to be left alone and can get frightened easily. She needs a human to make her world feel safe and complete.
