All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Bouncy and full of life, Aussie Chase is also super friendly. A happy, healthy, outgoing dog, he will do best in an active family. His zest for living and loving is huge. Just coming up on the prime of his young life, he will be a fantastic playmate in the backyard. Imagine him racing around with all his agility and speed, chasing that frisbee. Think about going for walks, with this Aussie boy trotting along by your side. But most of all, picture his sunny personality at your house, always ready to play, always up for fun.

A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: . He's of course high energy because he's your typical Aussie. He would make a fantastic farm dog. Listens very well. Gorgeous dog. No messes in the house or anything. He does wonderfully in the bath, just stands there, no crying, no barking, and doesn't really struggle. Chase slept through the night with no problem, he went into the crate and did not make a sound all night. And it seems like he's happiest just being right next to someone. While going on a walk this morning we met a couple of other dogs in the neighborhood and he greets them all very well. We are working on some manners such as: sitting before going out and being fed, no jumping on people, no begging for food, staying off the furniture (which isn't too much of an issue for him), and polite leash walking. He is super sweet, absolutely beautiful coat (I know aussies and his red merle coat is one of the best I've ever seen), housebroken, crate trained, great teeth, knows how to sit, good on leash, great with other dogs and a great size. He is the size (about 30/35 lbs), ears, tail, mannerisms and gate of a border collie but the coat of a red merle aussie.

NOTE: Because of Aussie Chase's high energy level, we will not place him with children under 8 years. He also will require a fenced yard.
