All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Tonka is a beautiful girl, full of life and love. Young and healthy, she hopes to find a family who will accept the gift of her whole heart. Friendly with people and other dogs, she is an active girl, so if you are an active person or family, she is just the right dog for you! Hiking, jogging, running, camping, play! She is a smaller dog for a shepherd, at only 45 lbs, with slender legs and a graceful gait when she trots or runs. She is hard wired to be a companion and will look to you for direction. She wants very much to please you and will eagerly learn whatever you want her to do. If you are in the market for a best friend, you have found her in Tonka!
