All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

"Shayla is a sweet heart. When she had free time in the fenced in back yard with the other 3 female dogs her size she had a great time playing.

She has a loving, submissive personality with people, but is fairly high energy. Loves to race around and play tag with the other dogs to blow off steam, but craves attention and would like to lay and snuggle with you on the couch afterwards.

She is the type of dog that will jump up and put her paws on your chest to get attention. Not in an aggressive way, just to show that she loves you. She has only barked a few times this weekend."

Shayla will be just right for someone looking for a best friend or family dog. When she is really happy, she carries that plume of a tail high over her back, and then , of course, there are the kisses...an easy dog to love, that's our Shayla.
A MESSAGE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: Shayla is great with
my cat, dog and the 6 and 8 year old. I can't imagine she'll have problem with
anyone, she's very submissive and sweet. Her only issues are that I'm still
working on getting her to not jump up, although she's very gentle when she
does,.
