Still so full of love and of life, Shadow is hoping to find someone at last who will love him back. A good dog, who very much wants to please, he has never had anyone to really care about him. We know for sure that at least once he was dumped out of a pick up truck and abandoned. And he is such a good boy! He comes when you call him, he looks at you with those beautiful deep golden eyes with such hope. Hope that he will find himself in a safe place. Where someone wiill touch him gently. Where there will be food and a soft place to rest. While a senior, he has plenty of energy in him for walks, play, and will give you all the loyalty that's been bred into his shepherd breed. An affectionate dog, he will show you in every way he can how grateful he is that you, out of everyone in the world, came for him, and told him you will be the one to love him. He has waited for you a long time.

SHADOW SEEMS TO BE HOUSE TRAINED AND HAS GOTTEN  ALONG WITH
RESIDENT CATS,BACKS OFF WHEN THEY HISS AT HIM.HE CAME IN AND JUST LAY FOR A
NAP.I THINK HE WILL MAKE A VERY NICE COMPANION FOR WHOEVER GETS HIM.
