All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Hello I am looking for a family who wants a senior buddy who still loves to play, hug, swim, fetch, and doggie purr’s.

      Your probably wondering about my nickname, I come by it honestly.  See if someone drops a leash I pick it up and skip away like a little puppy.  Not to mention I will water fetch until I almost drown myself, and steal water toys from others.

      I love people! Hugs rock, and I do the doggie purr when I get face rubs. Overall I am a happy fellow.  Car rides are a joy, they mean adventure!!!

      Now to be honest I do have a couple of ‘quirks’ …. Hanging head in shame…. I don’t like black dogs or male dogs.  See when I was a puppy a black male dog beat me up regularly so I kinda don’t like them much.  However, puppies are ok in my book.  Hey, I am bigger than they are! I am such a good boy. I would love to love you!
