All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

The most outstanding thing about Snickers, after his adorable good looks, of course, and his perfect medium size,  is his loving personality. Super affectionate, he loves to be by the side of his family He is a major lap sitter. He snuggles up like a white blanket on your lap...it will be his favorite spot in all the world. Warm and soft, if you will pet him while he is there, he will consider himself in heaven. His outgoing temperament, and friendly, wagging tail, complete the picture. Not food motiviated at all, this boy will work purely for love. A snuggle, a kiss on the nose, a simple pat on the head is his total reward. More good news...he loves children and is great with other dogs. If you want a dog who believes the entire world revolves around his family, you have just found Snickers.
A special note from his foster: Snickers is very smart and eager to please but he has not a lot of training and little experience with "the world". He has done beautifully with house training and sleeps baby gated in the laundry room without incident.  But sudden movements still frighten him and he will jump back and bark.  This is not aggressive but fear.  He needs confident leadership to help him be confident.
