Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him.

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This handsome boy, Butters, was surrendered with his brother D.O.G, also on our site.  He has had a tough life so far and hope to find someone who will love him for the great little dog he is. He tested Lyme and Heartworm positive and has started treatment for Lyme and pre HW treatment medication. Butter is a total sweety but definitely the boss of his brother D.O.G.. Butters does well with other dogs, no aggression. Learning house training, recently neutered. Walks well on a leash, can be crated, loves car rides. Very gentle. He is so eager to please and will be an outstanding companion. He is so easy to love and will love you right back with all his heart.

Special need!

Due to HW treatment, Butters must be in a quiet environment with only leash walks for bathroom breaks for 6 weeks, no running/jumping/rough play. Although he has no symptoms of HW his recovery needs to be diligent. More details of post treatment care can be discussed with interested adopters.

Adoption includes:

Neuter

Vaccinations for Bordetella Da2PP and Rabies

4DX heartworm test

microchip w/ registration (AVID)

Deworming and Treatment with Advantage
