All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

A special note from her foster:  Princess Leia is a special girl, she needs someone with the gentle hand, love and patience she has not had in her lifetime until now.  She is flourishing into a beauty of a lady, hence her name, Princess for short.    She bonded quickly with our resident golden retriever so if you have a laid back prince or princess fur baby of your own, Princess Leia would benefit from someone that she jump into a routine with and play with.  She is curious of the resident cat and tries every effort to get the cat to play but our cat likes to observe only.  She loves bones to chew on and her favorite treat is American cheese.  She is pretty good on a leash too so when on walks she is great on spotting everything, very aware of her surroundings at all times.  When you have won over her trust, you will get to see the look of love in her big brown eyes and her tail wags like a true Labrador.  She is on the small scale of her mix so she fits perfectly anywhere and when you see the happiness in her eyes, she fits perfectly in your heart because you can't help but to fall in love! 

Note:  Princess needs to go to a home where there is another dog.  She is more confident and seems more settled with a friend.  Also she is children friendly.
