All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Poor tiny Hector. He was locked into a cage and thrown out on the side of a road to die. Luckily, he was found by a caring person and brought to rescue. He is now safe and warm, with food in his bowl and a soft blanket for sleeping. And he has his whole life ahead of him to be loved. We intend to make sure that happens and hope it will make up for his very poor start in life. He is a long-haired chihuahua and so cute! His little body is soft to pet and brush. We have made sure he has been totally vetted for you, complete with all his shots, so he can get his new start in the best possible way. Do you like small dogs? Do you enjoy brushing your dog? Do you have room in your heart to show Hector that there are good humans in the world? If so, contact:

NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: "Hector is a nice little dog, once he knows you won't hurt him. He is so little, that's how he stays safe. Crate trained, comes when called, can sit to eat & be petted. Also, can sit up. Gets along with all the dogs well. Nice lap dog. He is uncomfortable with children, so he will need to go to a family without them."
