All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Chancellor is a gentle soul who doesn't understand why his family has not come for him. He can't understand that they just don't care about him any more. His heart is so full of love, he doesn't "get it" that humans aren't always the same way. Would you like having his whole heart devoted to you for a lifetime? That's just what you get with this great dog. He is good with other dogs and current on all his shots. He is ready to go! A simple promise from you to never break his heart again, and you will have , perhaps, the best dog ever in your life.
A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HIS FOSTER: Are you looking for a senior friend that just wants your love, hugs and kisses? Chancellor is your boy! He is easygoing, walks well on a leash and shows his stately posture when walking. He is not fast but will kick up the grass and run occasionally. He has a beautiful silky coat and loves to be petted. He is totally housebroken, neutered, up to date on all his shots, and does not chew things up.   He is currently being treated for lyme. He has a little stiffness in his hind legs from age but still gets around well except steps.  He would like to go to a home that only has a few steps to climb.  Please consider this sweet boy and don't overlook him because of his age, he has the vitality of a young dog who now wants to know what it is like to just give all his attention to his humans. Good with people, kids, dogs and showed no negative reactions to a cat.
