All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

Extra sweet and snuggly, tiny Shelbie is a happy dog who dreams of being loved.  Very soft to pet, she is also exceptionally loving herself. She always wants to be a good girl and will listen carefully to you, trying to understand what you want , so she can do it. Her greatest joy in life is rolling over on her back so you can rub her tummy. When you come to add her to your life, bring a leash and your heart. She will capture both!
A VERY SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER:

Shelbie will be perfect for you if you want a nice, sweet, quiet dog who walks beautifully on a leash. She is beautiful and cuddly, super house broken, and has no bad habits in the house, so you can leave her alone with confidence and she doesn't have to be crated. She currently is with a cat, and she ignores the cat perfectly! So if you are looking for this beauty, and want a cuddler who will love you so much, she is the right one for you. Just like most dogs Shelbie requires proper introduction to other dogs so they do not scare her. She is a bit unsure of children , so older considerate children would be a better match.
