Lofty
Lofty was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. After weeks of intense love, medications and dedication, Lofty said good bye and is at Rainbow Bridge. Lofty is at peace now. My heart will ache for a very long time. I won't ever get over this beauty. God do I miss her. She was one of a kind and there will never be another Lofty.

Lucky

Little Lucky was about 15 yr old when picked up and taken to the Humane Society. He was so matted with feces and urine, they had to shave him down. A rescuer took him out to help him but then returned him back to the Humane Society thinking his chances of a home were better there.... when we walked into the shelter and saw this pitiful little soul, we couldn't leave him.. He was taken in by one of our fosters and was starting to turn around when all of a sudden he started withering away.. and with sadness we said goodbye to this little one. Hopefully he will be running and playing happily now and not remembering his horrible life.

Lucky Boy
Lucky Boy passed away today. He had lots of angels in his life - the neighbor who watched over him when his owner wasn't coming home, RORR who took in a very special senior dog with cancer, Karen Merrithew his foster, and his wonderful adopters who welcomed him into their hearts and home knowing their time with him would be short. Lucky, you will be missed but never forgotten. You are loved.

LuLu
I had to have Lula put to sleep today. Very sad day. Seniors can give us so much in their short time. Marsha, our deepest sympathy to you!
