Lolo
My wife changed Lolo's name to Ginger and as she told you on the phone she has captured our hearts. We both still had a large knot in our chest ever since we had to put our 15 year old boy , Snooker, down in August due to complete kidney failure. We only had Ginger for three days and already the knot is starting to loosen up. We were surprised when we got there because Dr Pettigrew who was not supposed to come back from vacation until tomorrow was there. The vet and all the girls that work there made a big fuss over Ginger. We told her that no one was sure of her age but figure about 4 month. After checking her teeth she thinks that Ginger is at least 5 and maybe close to 6 month young. She deserves to have a Birthday and we are going to give her one. We are going to make her Birthday July 1, 2010. We stopped at Petco on the way home and bought her a New Bed, Collar, Harness, Natural Treats,& Blue Buffalo Dog Food. Yesterday I went on line and ordered her a pink cage and a nice cage pillow for when we haul her in the car to the Vets and today I went on line and ordered her 2011 Dog License and a name & address tag. Tina
I thought you all would like an update on the dog named Tina that we adopted. We were suppose to adopt Reine but as things changed, we ended up adopting Tina, who has been renamed Sandy. At first she was very shy, so we just let her adjust at her own rate. She never let us out of her sight and gradually she came to us more and more for kind words and belly rubs. I put a comfy quilt on the floor in our bedroom and she slept comfortably all night. She is eating well and becoming more comfortable with her suroundings. This morning she did more exploring and even pulled toys out to play with. She is a very well mannered, sweet tempered girl and fits in very well with our lives. We just keep reassuring her that she has found her forever home and need not worry about anything anymore. Thank you all for giving us such a precious Christmas present. We will cherish her for a long time to come! She loved PetSmart and meeting new people. She knocked a little boy down and mugged him with kisses, he loved it and came back a second time for more! She chased her first rabbit yesterday but didn't catch it. Everything is working out very well. We are truely blessed to have her in our lives, thank you again, and again, and again!!

Sending Holiday wishes to everyone at Rescue Out Reach from Riley and family!
Just wanted to let you know that Riley has been such a wonderful addition to our family and is doing well. He’s starting week 3 of obedience school and has been a star student; do especially well at “come”.
Everyone in the neighborhood just loves him and he has been meeting some of his extended family as they come to visit over the holidays.
We could not have asked for a better more loveable dog!
Thank you so much for entrusting Riley to us and we’ll keep in touch!
