We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

Lana is settling very nicely and quickly into our home. She is such a sweet and gentle girl. She met our 3 year-old and 1 ½ year-old grandsons today and she was wonderful with them! She is very tired, though, so hopefully she'll get a good night's sleep.
Thank so much once again!
Take care,
Linda & Tim
Update-
So good to hear from you and thank you for checking in to see how Lana is doing! She is such a sweet girl and is settling in well! I've attached a couple of recent pictures.
We had a DNA test done on Lana a few weeks ago and found that she is not a shepherd/collie mix, rather, she is a Labrador retriever/Miniature Longhaired Dachshund mix!
Take care,
Linda

Today is one year, hard to believe since we met Chance and Chase at Helen's to make that decision who to adopt. We had originally went to see Chase but fell in love with both of the golden's that were no longer wanted because they were seniors. In the end we picked Chance and also knew that Chase was probably going to his new home the next day.
So today we celebrate Chance's 11th birthday too. He is the most precious angel and has overcome his pain due to an old spine injury and also seizures. He has now happily put on the 20 lbs that he so needed when we got him, has a beautiful long flowing coat and for those that have met him know he is the sweetest boy and a true ambassador for all the RORR fosters we now bring home.
We are so happy to have this sweet boy in our family and to now be a huge part of the RORR family.
Happy Birthday Chance!
Love you Chance!!

Here's an updated picture of McGee, now Lucky, who was adopted in April 2013!Update-
Wanted to update on Bundy, now Buddy's progress. As you can see he has settled in pretty well. He is learning his manners and how to leave the cat alone. He is such a goofy, eager to please dog. We are glad you are a part of our pack, Buddy!
