Animal Success Stories
We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

King Arthur

Just got an update from King Arthur's family. They are doing great, but the funny thing is (after all the debate about his breed...best guess was chihuahua/pittie when he was a pup lol) he got DNA tested and came back Boston terrier/cockapoo!

Emily

This is Emily, my RORR foster from several years ago. Emily was very old when I got her, blind, partially deaf, had had more than 90 puppies for a breeder, and had been thrown to his pitbulls to maul when she could no longer produce puppies. Nobody thought she would live, but I took her to ease the last days of her life. Many trips to the emergency vet ensued as she crashed from wounds and other issues. And then, an applicant appeared who wanted her. This goes to show that there really IS someone for every dog. I cried this morning when I opened this email and saw my Emily, not only alive, but looking so content, and with a luxurious coat I never got to see. And so loved. Her person went on and on about how Em and her other dog loved each other and how they all took walks and played in the yard and snuggled. This is rescue at its finest.

Brodie

Brodie is very sweet. He and Raven are having fun playing together (although gotten in a little bit of mischief--he is definitely more mischievous than Raven). We would like to go ahead and adopt him.

Quincy

I just wanted to touch base and let you know how well Quincy is doing and how much we love him! He is a great dog and seems to be settling in to farm routine. He is very loyal and he also gets along well with Ginger, the jack Russell, and the cat. The cat loves licking Ginger, and she is starting to lick Quincy as well. Ginger and Quincy LOVE playing together, and at times get quite rambunctious. We let them loose in the indoor ring and they run like crazy. Their other favorite game is tug of war.

I am attaching some pictures. We wanted to let you know that we are very grateful to have Quincy as part of the family and look forward to the adventures to come!

Pepper

Well it's been a week with pepper and she's been a joy. Boomer and her have become very good friends, they both have found there spots. Pepper didn't eat much the first couple of days, but she's eating much better now. She was very Leary of our hard wood floors at first, but that went away pretty fast, we move around some small rugs and that helped a lot. You were right she is very soft. She sleeps with my husband every night right beside him. Looks like she found a friend. We will keep you updated about her in the future.

Thanks again
