Animal Success Stories
We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

Short Stack

Update-

Wanted to let you know Short Stack is doing great! He is such a good boy. He broke into his dog food one day while we were gone. As you told us he is very food motivated which we use to our advantage. He will stay, sit, and wait on command. He rolls to his left and right on command. He will do anything for a treat. He gets so excited he will roll before we even tell him, because he wants a treat. I just wanted to give you a "short" update.

Lisa

Short stack or Stu Stu as my daughter has renamed him has settled in nicely. He and the dogs are all getting along great they are teaching him about toys he will actually fetch now. He is ignoring the cat despite the cats attempts to get him to engage.

He has been to my vet and is on a heartworm preventative and we are looking to do a teeth cleaning sometime in the next few months.

Appetite is voracious have never seen a dog eat so quickly. He is a big snuggler and enjoys sleeping in my bed.

Overall he is doing great and we are happy to have him.

Trooper

We just had to update you on German shepherd Merlin (aka Trooper) who is doing remarkably well. We had a DNA test done and he's 100% GSD with a white shepherd in the blood line giving him his unusual coloring. Our boy now nudges me awake every morning and slobbers over cheese - he has fattened up a little while not overweight and looks simply gorgeous and adores his buddy Chloe also a shepherd. Merlin has changed a lot from his first weeks and is no longer shy but barks seldom unless he's being protective. Yesterday he greeted a very sad friend by placing his paws on his shoulders and licking him - our boy is very, very loving and perceptive! (He is also huuuuge!) Thanks again for our laughing boy Merlin Hagrid - he's a real gem. Happy New Year from us all.

Little Lucky

Here is Little Lucky and his new family. They have named him Bentley which is cute for him because he is adorable. He is doing well and working on his potty training. Still a little skittish but making himself at home and loves to just hang out on the couch with Brooke.

Mia

Mia was adopted!
