We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

Almond Joy
Almond Joy

AJ is doing very well. She is loving the kids and they are loving her, too. Crate training is coming along well. She has been to our vet and is scheduled for her next set of vaccs later this month. We are in the process of scheduling training for her to begin after vaccs are complete, but she is learning the rules of the house and a couple of commands already. Other than making us a bit tired, she is making us all very happy. Thanks, Lori

Nilla

Maggie is doing great! She's on the couch next to me right now chewing on her octopus. Since she's the first puppy I've raised alone, I hired a trainer who started the first weekend she was here, and have been reading "The Art of Raising a Puppy" by the Monks of New Skete. We struggle over who's pack leader, no biting (in play) and getting her to play nice with my 3-year-old cat. She doesn't hurt him, just scares him with her barking and jumping around. He's been so sweet to her. Really patient and he hasn't used his claws once! Maggie is a sweetheart and incredibly cute. Everyone falls in love with her and a lot of my neighbors know her by name. My pet sitter said she's a smiler and everyone comments on what a happy puppy she is. And, of course, I'm in love with her.

Kramer

If anyone would have told me we would have had Kramer as long as we did --- I would have said no way! But in God's timing Kramer now Kelby has found his forever home with new Mommy Norna Richardson! She drove 80 miles today to get to our boy with excitement in finally meeting him. Right off the bat Kramer was showing his athletic ability with Frisbee retrieving! Mommy Norna promised Kramer she would learn to throw it better! LOL! Kramer's new Mommy is planning on lots of training for our boy in hopes he will learn fly-ball...agility....but she was warned over and over our boy NEEDS his Frisbee play!! They will power walk 2 miles a day together too!! Boy our sweet boy Kramer now Kelby has hit the jackpot of forever play and love with Norna!! Kramer was flown to RORR by way of NC and now has found his true love in MD!! Thank you RORR!!! Thank you Helen Hamer and Bill for taking such loving care of our boy---rest your weary arm Bill & Helen you both have put in many hours of Frisbee and now look at the rewards!! Bless Kelby aka Kramers new life!!

Natty Boh

Former RORR puppies from 2012. Grace is on the left and Natty Boh is second from the right. They are littermates and mom is a golden retriever. Both puppies were foster failures.

Chrissy

So easy to train with patience and love ..she adjusted so quickly as if she always belonged here and knew this was her forever home... So very, very sweet and easy to LOVE... Walker, Hope, Georgie, Sammy, and I are so thankful to have her join our family!!!!
