Spots
Greetings! Well, it has been three weeks today that Frodo (formerly known as Spots) officially came into our lives. What a fabulous guy he is! Healthy, happy, a little nutty, full of energy...and such a little love bug! We're working on house-training, and he is still not overly comfortable with people he doesn't know, but he warms up quickly with a few treats and a gentle hand. He's incredibly smart (smarter than us most days, I think!); we've taught him a few tricks already and are start training class with him on Tuesday.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to adopt Frodo! Thank you as well for all the wonderful things RORR does for animals that deserve nothing less than the best.
With much appreciation,
Kent, Amy, Christian, and Lucas Buhrman

Twinkle
Twinkle nka Zelda
Twinkle is now Zelda and the kids say I love her more than I love them! She is very smart and well trained, except she's always so excited to see me, she jumps on me. She did Puppy First grade and puppy kindergarten last year then CGC prep, but not ready to take the test. We love walks in the woods and spent 2 weeks at Dewey where she can be off leash on the beach. One of the first things I trained her to do was off leash walking.
My daughter Sadie is doing a project to raise money for RORR. She's baking dog biscuits and selling them at our local farm market on 9/22. She sent $45 in in the fall! I'm having some trouble with my iPhoto on my computer, so I'll send you some pix from my phone in a separate email.
Thanks so much for letting us adopt Zelda! I'd love to hear how her sister and brothers are doing too, AND see pix if there are any. We think the mix is border collie.
