Animal Success Stories
We love getting updates from our adopters! This page is a collection of the photos and stories sent to us. As our website restricts us to only one photo and story for each dog, we have created a photo gallery here -

Nike

Dear Ruth, Kat, Norm and Gail: Thank you so much for your part in bringing "Fergus" (Nike) to us!! He is such a joy and we all love him dearly. He is so sweet and loves to sit in anyone's lap. Thank you, thank you , thank you!! Merry Christmas! The Kroll Family

Jimmy Little
Jimmy Little

We wanted to give you an update on Jimmy. He is getting along well in our home, both with Jodi and our cats. He seems very happy and is very sweet and affectionate. He is still in his chewing stage, somewhat, although it seems to be getting better. He and Jodi are very good together. They have lots of fun running and playing together. If I didn’t know better, I would think they were littermates. They seem to do everything together. I am attaching a recent photo of them. Even though they each have their own beds, the often times curl up on one of them together. It’s very cute. Happy Holidays to you both. Michele & Pat Mullins

Pretty Penny

Penny has a sweet and quirky personality and is settling in beautifully. She and older brother Chance enjoy taking turns chasing each other around the backyard. Although Chance is 20 pounds heavier, Penny is not at all intimidated. She darts and rolls like a ninja warrior and before you know it she’s on the offensive. She likes to bury her rawhide bones in the backyard then Chance sniffs them out, digs them up and brings them back into the house! Penny enjoys being around humans and every once in a while will give a soft nibble to a hand or clothing signaling it’s time to play! She seems very comfortable in her dog bed and sleeps through the night – last night with four paws in the air! She let’s us know when she has to go out so hasn’t had an accident yet. We are so happy to have her … our pack is complete!

Izabella

Hi Girls! I just wanted to check in with you and let you know how Izzy is doing. She and Rocky play ALL the time. Since Izzy has never seen our pool without the cover she thinks its a trampoline and she and Rocky wrestle on it! Her coat is filling in and gets glossier every week. Her tail is getting thicker and longer. Thanks again for letting her join our family. She is a lover and is eager to learn. i dont think I have ever owned a more optimistic dog! I hope you had a great thanksgiving! Lisa
