Betty
Betty has come a long way since she first "came inside" to live with us a little over 2 months ago. She has learned some simple commands like "come" and "sit," and she will now take treats from our hands and eats in our presence (which she wouldn't do at first). She is very anxious to please, and only has to be told "no" once when she does something wrong.
We have found that Betty loves hugs and is quite affectionate. She also likes her daily walks.
Over all, Betty is doing well and becoming more integrated into our household. With time and patience, we expect she will continue that process. She is just as smart and beautiful as we thought she would be, and we are very happy to have her with us. We think she is happy here, too.
Zoe
I have attached two shots of Zoe, one solo and the other with her new doggy-daddy, Fire Chief Clack, Baltimore, MD.
Zoe is doing great! Healthy and Happy as ever :) I hope you enjoy the pictures! We truly love this little girl So happy you brought her in our lives!
Weebit
I wanted to let you know that since Weebs came home with me in September he is doing awesomely. He has settled into our townhouse well. He loves laying in the living room and watching the little kids play in the tot lot across the street (and of course, valiantly defending the house from the evil flags at the model home!).
He and his new brother were quick friends. Even though Minkah likes to act like the too cool older brother, when he thinks I'm not looking he likes to snuggle on the couch with his brother. They rest their chins on each others' butts and make the most adorable little circle of white fluff.
Weebs also loves to visit his grandma and grandpa's house during the day. He has set up an elaborate game of war with the squirrels in their backyard; so far there is no clear winner.
I've attached a picture for you so you can see how he's doing. He's gotten so big! We just celebrated his first birthday tonight (hence the cupcake :).
Thank you so much for all that you do to help little guys and girls like Weebs. I couldn't imagine my life without him and am so grateful that you took him in and brought us together.
