Blake

Leo (formerly Blake) is just wonderful...I can't understand why anyone would have given him up in the first place. He has adapted to our family very well. He gets along with the kids and our cats. He likes snuggles, playing with his toys, and sleeping in his dog bed. Leo gets about 5 walks a day, including two 30-40 minute walks. We also take him to a local dog park several times a week. He doesn't go to the bathroom in the house, he responds to our commands (sit, etc.), he doesn't jump on anyone, and he doesn't pull on the leash during walks.

Rocky Boy

"Rocky" is doing great. He just jumped right into the family like he's been with us for years. What a sweet sweet dog. So well behaved. Wonderful disposition. He's got a very soothing way about him, which I guess maybe is typical of labs. Calm and docile indoors yet playful and energetic outside. Loves going outside; loves being out there with us and playing chase or working on fetch, but also happy to run around by himself and explore. Happiest when he is close to us, though. A bit of a barker, especially if he hears another dog. We have introduced him to one friend's dog and they got along fine. Loves the kids. I can't get over how well behaved he is. - Greg

Update: We still haven't settled on a name, but he's an awesome dog and we love him and want to keep him. He's calm in the house, sleeps in our bed, looks after the kids, runs and plays outside, guards the house, alerts to any threat, loves being around us. Great dog.

Update: Since he looks like a coyote we have decided to call him Wiley

Pretty Patches

Patches is doing great and she is wonderful. She is full of energy and you'd never know she had surgery just 2 weeks ago. Thank you for your assistance and connecting us with Dr. Barbour. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable trusting him with patches' care. I'm attaching a picture of her that I took tonight.

Molly Shepherd

I just wanted to let you know that Molly is doing wonderful. She is such a precious girl. We go on a lot of walks with her, which she loves, and her leash manners have improved greatly. She hardly pulls anymore and is much calmer when she sees a squirrel or bunny (she went crazy before and tried to chase after them). If I tell her to slow down or wait, she listens. Her favorite thing to do is go in the water. She just loves to go wading in water and always lays down in it. She is also great with all dogs that she meets.

At home she is almost perfect. She doesn't try to chew on anything that she is not supposed to, she settles down easily, and is very gentle with our cat. Our cat is no longer afraid of Molly and even lays next to her without a problem. Sometimes Molly get a little too playful with the cat, but the cat lets her know that she doesn't like it and Molly backs off right away. In the rare cases that Molly does something she is not supposed to, it's enough to say "no" and she stops right away.

Everywhere we go people comment on how beautiful and well-behaved she is. Nobody can believe that we have only had her for a few weeks and that she is a rescue. They ask me where we got her and I always tell them about RORR :).

We cannot thank you enough for bringing Molly into our home and hearts.
